Probably should have written this before the Scotland game, but what the hell.
My own opinion was that O'Gara should have started against the Scots. Sexton's overall play was better in the Six Nations up to that point, but his kicking was poor against Wales, and he was criticised for it. Starting with the Munster player would have taken that pressure off Sexton. Then, if we got clear of the opposition, say by 10-15 points, introduce the Leinster player and let him get the confidence back. If he missed, then we were already enough clear that it wouldn't make a difference.
Unfortunately people are going to remember the game for the missed kicks more than anything else now.
